Job summary

Trailborn is seeking an On Call Banquet Server to deliver dining experiences at events in Wrightsville Beach, NC. You will set up banquet spaces, help service food and beverages, and work closely with kitchen and event staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

This role requires standing for long periods, the ability to carry trays, and flexible availability including evenings and weekends. Prior banquet or food service experience is preferred, and applicants must be legally

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Experience working in banquet or event service environments.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Certification in food handling or hospitality service.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Multilingual abilities to assist diverse guest populations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare banquet rooms by setting tables, arranging chairs, and ensuring all necessary service items are in place according to event specifications.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously to guests during events, following proper serving protocols and safety standards.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of banquet events, including cleaning and resetting rooms after service.
• Collaborate with kitchen and event staff to coordinate timing and delivery of menu items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests professionally, addressing any concerns to ensure a positive experience.
• All other duties as assigned.
