Job summary

TPG Hotels & Resorts in Atlanta, GA seeks a banquet server to set up event spaces and provide courteous service for banquets and catering events. You will handle plated meals, buffets, hors d'oeuvres, and beverages, ensuring smooth flow and guest satisfaction.

As part of the banquet team, you will maintain clean, organized banquet areas, assist with breakdowns, and collaborate with the Banquet Manager and kitchen staff. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of previous banquet, catering, restaurant, hotel, or food-service experience required.
• Previous hotel banquet experience is preferred.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to remain professional and composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move banquet supplies and equipment as required.
• Must be available to work a flexible, on-call schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as event schedules require.
• Must comply with all applicable food safety and alcohol-service requirements.
