Job summary

Eurest in Richardson, TX seeks an on-call Audio Visual Technician to support client AV needs and ensure seamless events. You will interface Crestron-controlled systems and provide prompt service at the venue, working closely with the AV team and clients.

The role requires problem-solving, setup, operation, and ongoing education of staff and customers on AV equipment. The on-call schedule supports events across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience supporting audio visual for events.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of office technology/equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviews customer and meeting planner requests from the reservation system and provides equipment/assistance at the time and place necessary.
• Provides problem escalation support and issue resolution and follows up on service challenges.
• Provides technical assistance for meetings and events requiring tech services.
• Follows SOPs for AV support as provided by the AV Manager and Director of Technology and Operations.
• Maintains room equipment inventory and coordinates repairs/replacements in conference rooms.
• Assists with conference room set-ups, breakdowns and other areas as needed.
• Keeps AV storerooms organized and well managed.
