Qualifications

• Completion of an archaeological field school or equivalent training.
• Residence in southern California with availability for travel.
• 2-year minimum fieldwork experience in CRM.

Responsibilities

• Support archaeological Field Directors with cultural surveys.
• Identify and document cultural resources following standards.
• Conduct desktop research, including record searches.

Skills

Familiarity with GPS/GNSS units

Strong technical writing skills

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks

Flexibility in assignments

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Anthropology or Archaeology
