Job summary

A prominent environmental services firm is seeking on-call archaeologists in Southern California to assist with fieldwork and cultural resources programs. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology or Archaeology and at least two years of fieldwork experience. Responsibilities include supporting archaeological Field Directors and documenting cultural resources. The role offers a flexible work schedule and the chance to collaborate with diverse professionals in the field.

Qualifications

• Completion of an archaeological field school or demonstrable equivalent training.
• 2-year minimum fieldwork experience in CRM.
• Knowledge of California and/or Great Basin archaeology.

Responsibilities

• Support archaeological Field Directors and Project Managers in field planning.
• Identify and document cultural resources.
• Conduct desktop research as needed.
