Job summary

The Hallmark Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance on apartment equipment, appliances, and building systems. You must have basic tools, be able to respond to emergency calls, and help train junior staff.

Ideal candidates have HVAC and EPA certifications, a Fair Housing certificate, and a valid driver's license. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities for career development and advancement.

Qualifications

• Two years of maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• HVAC and/or EPA certification preferred.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred.
• Fair Housing Certificate required.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs, troubleshoots systems, and completes preventative maintenance.
• On-site basic repairs including HVAC systems, appliances, water heaters, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Available for emergency maintenance calls 24 hours a day when scheduled.
• Inspects and maintains building systems and appearances; trains groundskeepers and junior technicians.
• Maintains maintenance records, inventory, and safety procedures.
