Job summary

Bryten's South Main Station in Longmont, CO is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep the community safe, functional, and welcoming for residents.

You will diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, drywall and painting while performing preventative maintenance and make-ready turnover.

A high school diploma is required; HVAC certification is preferred; experience in apartment or facilities maintenance is valued; on-site, on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• HVAC certification preferred; additional industry certifications are a plus.
• Prior apartment or facilities maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests and maintenance work orders in a timely, courteous manner.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, drywall, painting, and related systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on community equipment, buildings, and common areas.
• Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents through make-ready and turn processes.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, amenities, and equipment.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergencies.
• Maintain site curb appeal and proper maintenance of grounds and amenities.
• Keep accurate records of work orders, inspections, inventory, and activities.
• Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and team members.
• Assist with inventory management and capital improvement initiatives.
• Support safety compliance with company policies and regulations.
