Live Bryten is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our South Main Station in Longmont, CO. You will perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and make-ready tasks to ensure a safe, comfortable community for residents.

Ideal candidates have apartment maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting, and reliable transportation. On-site work is required; HVAC certs are a plus. Comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Previous apartment or facilities maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general maintenance.
• HVAC certification preferred; additional certifications are a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments efficiently.
• Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer and mobile tech for work orders.
• Experience with Yardi/ResMan/On-Site or similar PM software preferred.
• Lift, carry, push, pull equipment as needed.
• Indoor/outdoor work in varied weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests and work orders promptly and professionally.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, drywall, and painting issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on buildings and common areas.
• Prepare vacant apartments with make-ready and turn processes.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, amenities, and equipment for safety and upkeep.
• Assist with emergency maintenance and on-call rotation.
• Maintain curb appeal and grounds upkeep.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations.
• Document work orders, inspections, and inventory accurately.
• Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and team members.
• Support inventory management and supply levels.
• Assist with capital improvement projects as needed.
• Promote a safe, welcoming community environment.
