Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a skilled UPS technician to join our Critical Power Group in Fresno, CA.

You will maintain, service, and test UPS systems, batteries, and related equipment, with travel to high-profile government, institutional, and commercial facilities. You'll perform preventive maintenance, emergency service, and provide technical support. A minimum of 2+ years OEM experience and an AA/BS degree in Electrical/Electronics are required; strong communication and documentation skills

Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex technical instructions, plans blueprints, and schematic diagrams.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and troubleshoot UPS systems and critical infrastructure.
• Perform preventive maintenance and testing, and respond to emergency service calls 24/7.
• Interface with customers and coordinate on-site subcontractors as needed.
• Prepare Field Service Reports, Time Sheets, and Expense Reports accurately.
