Job summary

Michaels Stores, a leading arts and crafts retailer, is seeking a store associate to assist customers, stock shelves and maintain store appearance. You will help shoppers locate products, handle transactions, and enroll customers in rewards programs, while delivering friendly service.

You will support omnichannel processes, execute POS procedures, participate in truck unloading and restocking, and uphold safety and SOP standards to ensure a welcoming, in-stock store experience.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and accurate cash handling.
• Engage customers in rewards programs and enroll them.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys and channels.
• Assist with Buy Online Pick Up In Store and Ship From Store.
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planograms.
• Maintain store recovery, in-stock conditions, and merchandising standards.
