Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Nashville, TN is seeking a Store Associate for the NASH-BELLEVUE location.

You will help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions, while delivering a fast, friendly checkout experience and executing cash handling to standards. You’ll engage customers with the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments, participate in Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, and assist with stocking and planograms.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Responsible to complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go back process.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner; promote company values; be a role model for other Team Members.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
