Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Part Time Cashier/Sales Team Member in Clarksville, TN. You will deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience while supporting in-store merchandising and stock responsibilities.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and participating in omnichannel processes like BOPIS/SFS, with opportunities to enroll customers in rewards programs and private label offerings.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Willingness to perform stocking and merchandise recovery duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop the store, and find what they’re looking for.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience with cash handling to standards.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Support Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS) initiatives.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments; participate in store recovery.
