Job summary

Montcure, LLC is seeking an Operating Materials and Supplies-Remainder (OM&S-R) Manager to support audit readiness and asset management for a U.S. Navy/DoD financial organization.

You'll work under a team lead to execute existence and completeness testing across APSR, Navy ERP, Advana/Jupiter, and the Trial Balance, applying established templates and data scripts. Based in Washington DC with onsite duties (Alexandria, VA or Navy Yard), you will coordinate with government counterparts, supervise

Qualifications

• 6+ years of financial management, accounting, or audit readiness in government.
• Experience supporting IPA audits and responding to PBC requests.
• Experience performing reconciliations and researching variances.
• Experience supervising analysts and reviewing their work.

Responsibilities

• Execute OM&S-R audit readiness tasks following plans and timelines.
• Support Navy activities walkthroughs and respond to PBC requests.
• Supervise analysts and review work for SOP consistency.
• Review quarterly reconciliations across APSR, Navy ERP, and trial balance.
• Review Advana/Jupiter data scripts, document discrepancies, escalate logic changes.
• Perform root cause analysis of missing or unsupported APSR records.
• Support existence and completeness testing during Navy site visits; track samples and results.
• Conduct variance analyses and identify inactive or obsolete material.
• Maintain desk guides, SOPs, and deliverable trackers.
