Job summary

bioMerieux is seeking a Lab Technologist in Utah to perform a wide range of laboratory tasks and operate sophisticated instruments including HPLC, DNA synthesizers, LC/MS, liquid handling robots, and UV/Vis spectrometry.

You will maintain records per regulatory requirements, follow SOPs, and work under general instructions for routine tasks while solving deviations from standard practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with at least 1 year lab experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry or biology preferred.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot lab instruments per SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine lab tasks following GMP and quality system guidelines.
• Maintain records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Operate HPLC, UV/Vis, LC/MS and DNA synthesizers.
• Handle hazardous chemicals per written procedures and safety rules.
