Job summary
BioFire Diagnostics in Utah seeks a Lab Technologist for the C Shift (3/4 X 12) Sun–Tue and every other Wed, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The role covers operating HPLCs, DNA synthesizers, LC/MS, liquid handling robots, and UV/Vis spectrometry within BioMerieux’s Quality System.
Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of lab experience; a BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology is preferred.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1+ year of laboratory experience.
- BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry or Biology preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform work in BioMerieux’s Quality System and SOPs.
- Maintain records per GMP and regulatory requirements.
- Manufacture oligonucleotides per batch records.
- Operate and maintain HPLC, DNA synthesizers, LC/MS, liquid handlers, UV/Vis spectrometry.
- Handle hazardous chemicals per procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
