Job summary

bioMerieux in Utah is seeking a Lab Technologist for a night shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) on a 3/4 X 12 schedule: Sun-Tues and every other Wed. The role involves performing a range of lab tasks, operating HPLCs, DNA synthesizers, LC/MS, liquid handling robots, and UV/Vis spectrometry.

The position requires adherence to GMP and company quality standards, detailed record-keeping, and strong attention to compliance and safety in handling hazardous chemicals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 1+ year of laboratory experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree (BS) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Biology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow BioMerieux Diagnostics’ Quality System and company policy.
• Maintain records per regulatory requirements (GMP); SOPs.
• Manufacture oligonucleotides per batch records and WIDs.
• Operate UV/Vis spectrophotometer, HPLC, liquid handlers, and DNA synthesizers.
• Handle hazardous chemicals according to written procedures.
