Job summary

bioMérieux in Utah seeks a Lab Technologist to perform a range of laboratory tasks and operate instruments like HPLC, DNA synthesizers, LC/MS, and UV/Vis spectrometry. The role requires routine work with deviation recognition, under general guidance.

Responsibilities include maintaining regulatory-compliant records, preparing oligonucleotides, and handling hazardous chemicals while adhering to SOPs. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with 1+ year lab experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1+ year of laboratory experience.
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree (BS) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Biology.

Responsibilities

• Perform work in compliance with company policy and Quality System.
• Maintain records per regulatory requirements and SOPs.
• Manufacture oligonucleotides according to batch records and WIDs.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation (HPLC, UV/Vis, DNA synthesizers).
• Handle hazardous chemicals per procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
