Job summary

BioMerieux Inc. in Utah is seeking a Lab Technologist for a 3/4 shift pattern (6:00 PM–6:00 AM) that spans Sun-Tues and alternating Wednesdays. You will operate HPLCs, DNA synthesizers, LC/MS, liquid handling robots, and UV/Vis equipment.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, maintaining records under GMP, and manufacturing oligonucleotides per batch records. The role requires attention to detail and team collaboration in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
1+ year of laboratory experience.
Preferred Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Chemistry, BioChemistry, and Biology.

Responsibilities

Perform all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines of BioMerieux's Diagnostics' Quality System.
Maintains records in compliance with regulatory requirements, current Good Manufacturing Practices, and Standard Operating Procedures.
Relies on instructions and pre-established written guidelines to perform job functions.
Manufactures oligonucleotides according to electronic batch records and WID's.
Proficient in the use and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation including UV/Vis spectrophotometer, HPLC, liquid handling robots, and DNA synthesizers.
Handles hazardous chemicals in accordance with approved written procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
