Job summary

Austin Hose in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a Rig Sales Representative to develop and maintain strong customer relationships within the oil and gas industry, providing knowledgeable, responsive, and solutions-focused service in the field.

You will identify hose needs, promote safe applications, and ensure timely fulfillment, coordinating with Inside Sales, Delivery, Purchasing, and the Oil & Gas Sales Team to support customers from rig to delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; oil & gas or industrial sales experience preferred.
• Ability to understand customer applications and recommend appropriate products.
• Strong communication, follow-up, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with drilling rigs, field personnel, and oil & gas customers.
• Identify sales opportunities and grow business within assigned customers and territory.
• Conduct rig visits and identify hose needs, hazards, and opportunities to improve life and performance.
• Recommend hose placement, replacement schedules, and solutions based on applications.
• Perform borescope inspections as needed and prepare quotes; process orders promptly.
• Maintain follow-up and own issues through resolution; coordinate with teams for fulfillment.
• Represent Austin Hose professionally and support team priorities; work flexible hours as needed.
