Job summary

National Hose & Accessory, established in 1985, is a leading distributor of hydraulic hose, industrial hose, fittings, and fluid transfer solutions. The Outside Sales Representative role covers the Houston, TX territory and surrounding Gulf Coast industrial market.

The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing and growing existing accounts, and expanding market share throughout the Greater Houston industrial corridor.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in managing customer relationships, territory sales, and developing new B2B business opportunities
• Strong relationship-building, consultative selling, and customer service skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
• Proven ability to manage a sales territory, grow accounts, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently in a field sales environment
• Knowledge of hydraulic hose, industrial hose, fittings, couplings, adapters, fluid transfer systems, or industrial MRO products is highly desirable
• Prior experience in outside sales, industrial distribution, hose & fittings sales, hydraulics, fluid power, or industrial supply is preferred
• Experience selling into oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environments is a strong plus

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and manage the growth of existing accounts within the Houston Gulf Coast market.
• Expand market share by prospecting new customers and building relationships with plant maintenance teams and procurement professionals.
• Identify opportunities for hydraulic hose assemblies, industrial hose solutions, and related MRO products.
• Use a consultative sales approach to understand application requirements and recommend hose and fitting solutions.
• Provide fast, reliable service to support critical operations and maintain customer satisfaction.
