Embark People, LLC is seeking an Outsourcing Senior Manager to lead our growing Outsourcing Accounting Practice. You will work with a collaborative team across multiple clients and industries, performing back-office accounting functions and ensuring superior client service to meet Embark’s lofty standards.

Must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, 8+ years in corporate accounting (E&P/upstream preferred), strong US GAAP knowledge, and experience with Quorum On Demand, Enertia, PakEnergy, or

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree, or higher, in accounting.
• 8+ years of experience in corporate accounting environments, with a primary focus on E&P/upstream companies.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Operational accounting experience in revenue and AP/JIB.
• Financial reporting background preferred.
• Experience with multiple accounting systems such as Quorum On Demand (preferred), Enertia, PakEnergy, or other relevant oil & gas software.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• High sense of urgency, strong initiative, and ability to juggle multiple projects & clients.

Responsibilities

• Grow Embark's outsourcing accounting practice by serving multiple clients across various industries.
• Record and report transactions including accounts payable, month/quarter/year-end close, and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with a team across client engagements to deliver high-quality service.
