Job summary

Embark is seeking an Energy Outsourcing Senior Manager to lead our outsourcing accounting practice. You will oversee back-office accounting for energy clients, ensuring accurate recording, month-end close, and financial reporting across multiple engagements. The role requires collaboration with a team handling diverse client needs and industry specifics.

You will bring 8+ years in corporate accounting, U.S. GAAP expertise, and strong communication for stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required or higher.
• 8+ years of experience in corporate accounting environments focusing on E&P/upstream companies.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Operational accounting experience in revenue and AP/JIB.
• Financial reporting background preferred.
• Experience with multiple accounting systems (Quorum On Demand preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform back-office accounting functions for diverse clients.
• Record and report transactions (AP, close processes, financial reporting).
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team across multiple clients and industries.
