Job summary

C3 AI is seeking an Industry Solution Leader (ISL) for Oil, Gas & Chemical to design and deliver enterprise AI solutions for its clients, with a specialization in Refining / Chemical Asset Performance.

You will own the solution strategy and lead cross-functional teams from problem definition through deployment, partnering with customer operations, reliability, and maintenance teams to drive measurable business value.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
7+ years of engineering, manufacturing, operations, reliability, maintenance, or technically focused consulting.
Experience in asset-intensive industries (oil, gas, chemicals, mining, utilities).
Experience solving complex operational problems and improving equipment reliability or efficiency.
Experience with industrial data, sensors, time-series data, and related engineering data.

Responsibilities

Own solution strategy, technical direction, and delivery for assigned engagements from definition to deployment.
Serve as the primary customer-facing solution leader and domain expert across operations and maintenance.
Identify high-impact opportunities in reliability, production performance, and process optimization.
Translate engineering challenges into AI/ML, optimization, and software problems with defined success criteria.
Lead cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with customer outcomes.
