Job summary

C3 AI, Inc. seeks an Industry Solution Leader for Oil, Gas & Chemical to design and deliver enterprise AI solutions specializing in Process Optimization/Network Optimization.

The role requires hands-on experience in midstream or downstream oil & gas operations and leadership of cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business outcomes. The ISL will work with customers across operations, reliability, and maintenance, translating complex challenges into AI-based solutions and guiding

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 7+ years in engineering, manufacturing, operations, reliability, or consulting.
• Experience with asset-intensive industries.
• Experience with industrial data and industrial systems.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall solution strategy, technical direction, and delivery outcomes for assigned customer engagements, from problem definition through production deployment and scale.
• Serve as the primary customer-facing solution leader and domain expert, understanding customer operations and business objectives.
• Identify and quantify high-impact opportunities across equipment reliability, maintenance, and process optimization.
• Translate engineering and operational challenges into AI/ML problems with clear requirements and value.
• Lead engagements through use case definition, requirements gathering, solution architecture, validation, and deployment.
