Job summary

C3 AI seeks an Industry Solution Leader for Oil, Gas & Chemical to design and deliver enterprise AI solutions focused on Process Optimization and Network Optimization. The role involves owning solution strategy, engaging with customer engineers, and leading cross-functional teams including data scientists and product managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 7+ years in engineering, manufacturing, operations, reliability, or consulting.
• Deep experience in asset-intensive industries (oil & gas, chemicals, mining, utilities, and more).
• Proven ability to solve complex operational problems and improve equipment performance.
• Strong understanding of industrial equipment, processes, and maintenance practices.
• Experience with industrial data including sensor, time-series data, alarms, and production information.

Responsibilities

• Own solution strategy, technical direction, and delivery outcomes for engagements.
• Serve as primary customer-facing solution leader with deep ops knowledge.
• Identify high-impact opportunities in reliability, throughput, and energy efficiency.
• Translate problems into AI/ML and optimization approaches with measurable value.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions from design to deployment.
• Collaborate with product teams to identify reusable capabilities and scaling opportunities.
