Job summary

C3 AI is seeking an Industry Solution Leader (ISL) for Oil, Gas & Chemical to lead end-to-end enterprise AI solutions for refining and asset performance. You will own design, deployment, validation, and scale, working with Forward Deployed Engineers, data scientists, and product teams to deliver measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline. Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, Mining, Metallurgical, Petroleum, Materials engineering backgrounds preferred.
• 7+ years in engineering, manufacturing, operations, reliability, maintenance, or technically focused consulting.
• Experience in asset-intensive industries (oil & gas, chemicals, utilities, etc.).
• Experience solving complex operational problems and improving equipment reliability, production performance, or energy efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own solution strategy, delivery outcomes, and production deployment for engagements.
• Serve as primary customer-facing solution leader and domain expert.
• Identify high-impact opportunities in equipment reliability, production performance, and process optimization.
• Translate challenges into AI/ML, optimization, and software problems with clear requirements.
• Lead engagements from use case to deployment and scale.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on customer outcomes.
• Validate requirements, workflows, and business impact with customer teams.
• Guide interpretation of industrial data and ensure results are credible.
