Job summary

C3 AI is seeking an Industry Solution Leader for Oil, Gas & Chemical to design and deliver enterprise AI solutions for refiners and chemical assets, requiring deep domain knowledge and hands-on delivery across engineering, operations, reliability, and maintenance.

You will lead cross-functional teams, validate requirements with customer stakeholders, and translate industrial challenges into AI-enabled value, from problem definition to production deployment and scale.

Qualifications

• Requires engineering degree and 7+ years in engineering, manufacturing, or operations.
• Deep experience in asset-intensive industries such as oil and gas or chemicals.
• Proven ability to translate operations into AI-enabled solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall solution strategy, technical direction, and delivery outcomes from problem definition to production deployment and scale.
• Serve as the primary customer-facing solution leader and domain expert across client operations.
• Identify and quantify high-impact opportunities in reliability, throughput, yield, energy efficiency and operating economics.
• Translate engineering challenges into AI/ML, optimization, and software requirements with clear value.
• Lead engagements through use case definition, architecture, deployment, validation, and adoption.
• Guide cross-functional teams and coordinate with product, engineering, and customer staff.
