Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a Shop Manager to lead daily operations, oversee maintenance operations, and mentor a growing team.

The role includes PAID TRAINING, clear advancement paths, and opportunities for base pay plus bonuses. Experienced managers are welcome, with opportunities to move from Assistant Manager to Manager-in-Training in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a manager valued but not required.
• Willing to undergo paid training on the Take 5 process.
• Able to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week on occasion.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in hot/cold conditions.
• Must have reliable transportation to the shop.
• Open to candidates from diverse backgrounds; no prior oil change experience required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, onboarding, and training new crew members.
• Creating crew schedules and submitting payroll.
• Controlling inventory: End of Period (EOP) and End of Year (EOY) counts.
• Placing product orders and restocking inventory as necessary.
• Understanding the shop’s financials to drive results and budget wisely.
• Conducting quarterly employee evaluations.
• Supporting crew members with duties such as changing oil and performing other auto services.
• Providing excellent customer service.
