Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring an Assistant Shop Manager to showcase leadership and manage a shop location. We offer paid training to learn the Take 5 way of performing oil changes, maintenance tasks, and service processes while you grow into a leadership role.

Move up fast through internal promotions, with opportunities to earn salaries and bonuses as Shop Managers or higher. This position emphasizes strong customer service and team leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience is valued but not required.
• Willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in hot/cold conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and process payments.
• Assume the responsibility and authority of the Shop Manager in the Shop Manager’s absence.
• Run the floor, ensure each vehicle is checked and every customer is satisfied before they leave.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with counting and adjusting inventory.
• Train new employees to fulfill duties in the Take 5 way.
• Drain motor oil, change oil filters, and perform other auto services as necessary.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain shop, office, and bathroom cleanliness.
