Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program seeks a full-time Regional Foster Care Licensing Manager to oversee licensing across Ohio. The role is hybrid with state-wide travel and requires knowledge of foster care licensing, COA regulations, and data reporting.

Supervisory experience is essential. The position offers competitive compensation, benefits, and the chance to shape licensing practices for diverse foster homes within NYAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in foster care/licensing; internal NYAP candidates require 2+ years within Foster Care programs.
• 2-3+ years of relevant supervisory experience required.
• Approved Ohio Assessor strongly preferred.
• A valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Licensing Supervisors/Licensing staff in the assigned NYAP Region and coordinate licensing activities.
• Ensure licensing processes meet state regulations and COA standards.
• Develop and implement licensing protocols to licensure within 45–60 days.
• Oversee pre-service training, certifications, and recertifications.
• Enter foster home licensing data into the Electronic Records System and generate reports.
