Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field.
• Active and valid professional licensure; LSW preferred.
• 1 year of work experience in direct service with youth and families.
• Assessor certifications preferred, willingness to obtain.
• Willingness to work flexible/non-traditional hours for foster caregivers and families.
• Capacity to work with diverse cultures, socioeconomic backgrounds, and beliefs.
• Excellent time management and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient use of word processing, spreadsheets and database programs.

Aufgaben

• Actively supports and represents the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to generate inquiries for licensed foster homes.
• Support potential foster parents in understanding needs of youth and reunification goals.
• Work with current and prospective foster parents to retain families.
• Complete face-to-face meetings with each foster family to maintain licensure.
• Meet with foster parents to remove barriers in licensing process.
• Complete a comprehensive home study for family and submit for approval.
• Maintain foster home records in appropriate systems.
• Provide ongoing training and support to licensed foster homes.
• Complete annual evaluations and recertification of all licensed foster homes.
• Prepare adoption finalization paperwork.
• Travel daily to provide community-based services in compliance with requirements.
