Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) seeks a Licensing Coordinator to recruit, license, and retain high-quality foster homes, ensuring compliance with regulations and organizational standards.

You will partner with families and caregivers, conduct home studies, and support ongoing licensing processes while traveling to communities to deliver services and build capacity for reunification and permanency.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field.
• 2 years of work experience in direct service with youth and families is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to generate inquiries for licensed foster homes.
• Complete face-to-face meetings with potential families within two weeks.
• Maintain and update foster home records in systems.
• Provide ongoing training and support to licensed foster homes.
• Complete annual evaluations and recertification of licensed foster homes.
• Travel daily to provide community-based services in compliance with requirements.

Education

Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field

2 years of direct service with youth and families (preferred)
