Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon in Ohio seeks a Director of Field Service Operations to lead strategic and operational direction of the M/HV services business regionally, owning safety, quality, financial delivery, and project discipline across aftermarket services and lifecycle contracts.

You will drive service strategy, growth plans, P&L ownership, and align pricing, cost controls, and budgets with corporate goals. Travel 25-40% to support field teams and customer engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years in Field Services, Power Systems, or Industrial Services with direct P&L ownership.
• Strong financial acumen and demonstrated experience managing a full P&L, budgeting, forecasting, pricing, margin improvement, cost control.
• Proven leadership of multi-site service operations and technical field teams.
• Strong understanding of M/HV systems, NETA testing requirements, and utility/industrial service environments.
• Experience with Salesforce, project management tools, and business analytics platforms.
• Ability to travel 25-40% to support operations, team development, and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the service strategy for M/HV products in alignment with regional and corporate objectives.
• Develop and lead growth plans for aftermarket services, engineering solutions, and lifecycle contracts.
• Expand and evolve service offerings (retrofits, upgrades, and maintenance agreements).
• Own the service P&L for the M/HV segment, including revenue, margin, cost controls, and EBITDA for the defined area.
• Collaborate with the President on pricing strategy, cost management, margin optimization, and budget planning for the Ohio region.
• Oversee delivery of safe, high-quality services across all projects and accounts with strong customer satisfaction.
• Leverage Salesforce, Power BI, and other tools to track KPIs and drive data-informed decisions.
• Drive standardization, continuous improvement, and best practices across field operations.
• Lead, engage, and mentor a diverse team of Managers, PMs, Supervisors, Engineers, and Field Technicians.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements; partner with HR for workforce planning.
