Job summary

ConocoPhillips is seeking an Offshore Oiler for Polar Tankers based in Houston, TX. The role reports to the First Assistant Engineer and involves hands-on engine room work, maintenance, and participation in drills.

Working on 12-hour shifts with overtime expectations, you will ensure vessel machinery reliability and safety. Preferred candidates hold MMC endorsements (Able Seafarer – Engine, RFPEW, QMED, BT, VPDSD) and TWIC, with prior tanker experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold, or be able to obtain, a U.S. Passport and TWIC.
• Must hold MMC endorsements: Able Seafarer – Engine, RFPEW, QMED, BT, VPDSD, VPDSD.
• Endorsements required for Tanker operations and security.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment and perform maintenance.
• Clean engine components and purifiers/filters.
• Take tank soundings and top off tanks as directed.
• Assist crane and rigging operations after training.
• Perform routine maintenance and report anomalies.
