Job summary

ConocoPhillips, a leader in energy exploration and production, is seeking an Able Bodied Seaman for Polar Tankers operations based in Alaska. The role requires hands-on deck work, watchkeeping, and cargo handling experience aboard oil tankers.

You will participate in drills, comply with safety standards, and support maintenance of deck equipment. Relocation is not offered; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and hold a valid MMC with required endorsements.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) and relevant endorsements.
• TWIC card and passport possession.
• Ability to perform duties on an offshore vessel.

Responsibilities

• Docking/undocking procedures and assist with cargo loading.
• Stand watch and bridge duties as required.
• Perform deck maintenance under supervision of the Boatswain.
• Operate deck winches, gear, and crane equipment as needed.
• Support safety, drill participation, and pollution prevention.
