Job summary

Gulf Copper seeks an experienced Offshore Foreman to lead on-site field operations, supervise crews, and uphold safety standards in a demanding marine environment. You will coordinate activities with project leadership and ensure offshore projects are executed safely, on schedule, and to industry norms.

The role requires knowledge of crafts such as welding, pipe/plate fitting, rigging, and electrical work, plus strong reading of blueprints/ISO drawings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred or equivalent
• Industrial/marine journeyman experience with 3+ years supervisory experience preferred
• Experience reading blueprints/ISO drawings/layouts

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations and crew performance
• Ensure safety compliance and adherence to industry standards
• Coordinate work scopes with project leadership and subcontractors
• Train and guide workers in repair or construction methods and safety procedures
• Monitor progress, inspect equipment and job sites for quality and safety
• Prepare material estimates and manage crew time sheets and JSA
• Read/interpret blueprints, ISO drawings and layouts for craft trades
• Resolve problems by coordinating with other departments and supervisors
• Ensure tasks have defined priorities and required materials are listed
