Job summary

Gulf Island in Houma, LA is seeking an Offshore Superintendent to lead and coordinate project management on offshore facilities, liaising with customers and inspectors, directing scheduling, yard operations, and project cost control to meet deadlines and profitability.

The role requires 5+ years offshore supervision, combo welding or fitting, OSHA/BSEE familiarity, strong communication, and the ability to work outdoors in varied conditions. A TWIC card and pre-employment checks are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years background in Combo Welding or Combo Fitting.
• 5+ years direct Offshore supervision experience, 2 years being recent.
• General understanding of OSHA / BSEE regulations for the construction / offshore industry.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen; TWIC card required.

Responsibilities

• Review project contracts and ensure deep knowledge of job specs and schedules.
• Coordinate and direct project activities to avoid delays and cost overruns.
• Maintain liaison with customers, inspectors and management for effective communication.
• Lead large teams and coordinate schedules, material delivery, and budgets.
