Job summary

Gulf Island seeks a Cleaning and Environmental Technician to perform inland and offshore project work from Houma, Louisiana, including loading/unloading materials, entering offshore tanks, and maintaining safety standards.

Requirements include 2+ years offshore experience, a valid TWIC card, a driver’s license, and ability to pass drug/background checks. The role is on-call with nights, weekends and holidays and requires strong physical stamina.

Qualifications

• 2+ years offshore experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• On-Call duties including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Valid Driver's License and TWIC card.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must pass MVR check and Water Survival Training (T-Huet).

Responsibilities

• Work on land and offshore (GOA).
• Load and unload materials.
• Enter offshore tanks and remove products using hoses and pumps.
• Clean offshore tanks after product removal.
• Apply company policy and enforce project standards.
• Complete required training and participate in Gulf Island safety program.
• Work On Call, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
