Job summary

Gulf Island is seeking a Cleaning and Environmental Technician to perform inland and offshore project work. The role includes onshore and offshore duties, loading/unloading materials, and handling hoses and pumps to process products in offshore tanks.

The position requires 2+ years of offshore experience, strong communication skills, and a valid TWIC card. It includes on-call shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays, with comprehensive benefits and safety training.

Qualifications

• 2+ years offshore experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• This position is On Call, working nights, weekends and holidays is a requirement.
• Must have Valid TWIC card.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Execute Cleaning and Environmental project work assignments inland and offshore.
• Work on land and offshore (GOA).
• Enter offshore tanks and remove products by handling hoses and pumps.
• Clean offshore tanks after the removal of products.
• Apply company policy and procedures and enforce project standards.
• Complete all required training and participate in safety programs.
• Work on Call, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
