Job summary

Gulf Island is seeking a Cleaning and Environmental Technician to perform inland and offshore project work. The role includes onshore and offshore duties, loading/unloading materials, and handling hoses and pumps to process products in offshore tanks.

The position requires 2+ years of offshore experience, strong communication skills, and a valid TWIC card. It includes on-call shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays, with comprehensive benefits and safety training.

Main Purpose:

The main purpose of the Cleaning and Environmental Technician is to execute Cleaning and Environmental project work assignments inland and offshore.

Essential Functions:

• Work on land and offshore (GOA)
• Work loading and unloading materials
• Enter offshore tanks and remove products by handling hoses and pumps
• Clean offshore tanks after the removal of products
• Effectively apply company policy and procedures and enforces project standards
• Complete all required training
• Participate in Gulf Island safety program
• Work On Call, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor

Environmental Conditions:

80 to 90% of the work activities are performed outdoors. Individuals will be required to work in changes of temperature, hot, cold, humid, wet, and dry conditions, dust, mud, etc.
