Job summary

Transocean Ltd. is seeking an Able Bodied Seaman to perform cargo handling, maintenance, painting and safety-related tasks aboard offshore operations. You will assist with deck operations, cleaning, and routine inspections under supervision, ensuring adherence to safety and HSE protocols.

Prepare and paint surfaces, support firefighting and lifesaving equipment checks, and participate in drills and vessel moves. A high school diploma and relevant credentials are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; proof of completion of formal education where applicable.
• Able Seafarer credential (unlimited) and STCW 95 II/5 where applicable.
• Valid medical examination and vaccination certificates for area of operation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cargo handling duties, general cleaning, maintenance, and other manual tasks as directed.
• Prepare and paint all interior and exterior surfaces and equipment as directed by supervisor.
• Assist mates with preventative maintenance and inspections on marine equipment.
• Carry out maintenance and inspections on equipment related to firefighting, lifesaving, safety, and watertight integrity.
• Participate in safety meetings, drills, and emergency procedures.
