Job summary

Transocean Ltd is seeking a 3rd Assistant Engineer to support the maintenance and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment onboard the vessel. This role involves ensuring compliance with safety regulations and assisting in regular inspections and maintenance tasks.

The qualified candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid 3rd Engineer Unlimited License, and basic computer skills. The position requires proactive participation in safety meetings and operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (U.S.) or relevant craft certificate.
• Successful military discharge preferred for U.S.
• Graduate of trade school or university preferred.
• Valid medical examination and vaccination certificates required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
• Perform daily inspections and maintenance on mechanical equipment.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical tools.
