Job summary

Transocean is seeking an Offshore Roustabout to perform cargo handling, cleaning, and general maintenance on offshore assets. You will report to the Crane Operator and work under supervision with emphasis on safety and operational discipline.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferred qualifications include military discharge, trade school or university background, and Norway-specific certifications for Operator level.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Military discharge preferred for U.S. personnel.
• Graduate of trade school or university where applicable.
• Norway-specific qualifications per Havtil ref. Activities Regulations (NOG024) for Operator level.

Responsibilities

• Housekeeping, cleaning, tidying and correct disposal of trash.
• Surface preparation and painting.
• Assisting in preventative and corrective maintenance of rig equipment.
• Manually move equipment, tools and materials around the installation, using manual lifting aids and Hands Free where possible.
• Norway-specific: ensure lifting equipment complies with NORSOK R-003 and related competence documentation.
