RR Donnelley in West Bend, WI is seeking a Printing and Bindery Specialist for the 3rd shift (7:00 PM – 5:00 AM, Monday–Thursday) with a $2 shift differential. You will set up, adjust, operate and maintain press equipment, perform all make-ready tasks, and ensure color accuracy and quality.

Attention to maintenance and safety is essential. The role requires thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, ability to read job specs, and precise control of press settings.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials and specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret job specifications and assess press capabilities.
• Skill in making precise settings and routine maintenance of equipment.
• Ability to perform routine repairs and minor maintenance on press equipment.
• Knowledge of appropriate packing pressure for print jobs; micrometer use for plate alignment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain multiple press equipment.
• Perform all make-ready tasks such as hanging plates, installing cylinders and ensuring image positioning.
• Make color corrections and press adjustments to meet quality specifications.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain presses; perform minor repairs as needed.
• Carry out periodic maintenance as recommended by manufacturers.
