Job summary

RR Donnelley is seeking a Printing and Bindery Specialist for the 2nd shift. You will help load materials, adjust feeders, and move plates to prepare the press for operation. The role includes hands-on make-ready tasks and routine plate handling, with a 3pm-11pm schedule and a $2 shift premium.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of presswork procedures and materials learned on the job.
• Ability to follow instructions to assist in press setup, operation and maintenance.
• Able to operate hand carts, pallet jacks, stackers, and hydraulic feed mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Load paper or raw materials into feeders and hoppers to maintain material flow.
• Adjust equipment feeder mechanism based on paper size.
• Deliver components like plates or spray heads for installation.
• Recycle old/discarded plates.
• Provide basic assistance to make-ready the equipment for operation.
• Assist with retrieving, hanging, recycling, and storing plates for make-ready.
