Job summary

RR Donnelley in Wisconsin is seeking a Printing and Bindery Specialist on 2nd shift (10 PM–6 AM, M-F) with potential OT. Start pay is $17.00–$19.00 per hour plus a $3 shift differential. The role includes press setup, ink/solution checks, paper handling, and assisting with maintenance and make-readies.

Training on 1st shift is required before transitioning to 3rd shift. The job emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to ISO procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a printing environment preferred.
• Some experience in the operation of various hand tools preferred.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the press for a run by verifying job specs and setting up the press accordingly.
• Inspects the fountain solution, inking systems, rolls of paper and related mechanisms.
• Maintains proper inventory of paper and records usage and spoilage.
• Ensures the roll of paper is unwrapped, mounted and ready to splice.
• Monitors the flow of paper and installs new rolls as needed.
• Assists with preventative maintenance of presses and with repairs.
• May assist with make-readies and adjust inks/solvents/varnish as required.
• Adheres to safety policies including hazardous waste handling and PPE rules.
