Job summary

Responsibilities include reviewing job instructions, setting up and releasing print jobs, monitoring quality, and using bindery gear to finish projects. Collaboration with Customer Service and production teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with PDF, TIFF, and EPS formats across Mac and PC
• Basic color management and ability to output to various devices
• Mechanical aptitude to perform minor repairs using hand tools

Responsibilities

• Review job instructions and prepare jobs for printing on a Digital Press
• Set up, program, and release jobs from the print queue
• Monitor output quality and image fidelity during production
• Utilize bindery equipment (cutter, folder, creaser, shrink tunnel) to complete jobs
• Package jobs and prep for shipping
• Review client files for completeness before plate making
• Identify missing or problematic components and inform relevant teams
• Collaborate with Customer Service and production personnel to resolve issues
• May prepare color proofs for customer review
