Job summary

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials and safety requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret job specifications and determine press usage and materials.
• Skill to set controls, adjustments, and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Knowledge of packing pressure and proper printing pressure for various jobs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain multiple press equipment.
• Perform make-ready tasks: hanging plates, installing cylinders, align images, prepare blankets.
• Make color corrections and press adjustments to meet quality specifications.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain presses; perform minor repairs and routine maintenance.
