Job summary

RR Donnelley is hiring a Press Assistant 2- Material Handling - Press Service for the 2nd shift in Bucks County, Quakertown. The role involves inspecting rolls, relabeling, and assisting with warehouse priorities, with a 3pm–11pm schedule and a $2/hour shift premium.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience highly preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in a printing environment preferred.
• Some experience in the operation of various hand tools preferred.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect warehouse for unwrapped rolls, missing tappis, damaged rolls and stacking.
• Check, fix and re-tape outer wraps if needed on rolls, relabel, cut down damage product.
• Assist warehouse person as needed to prioritize receiving shipments.
• Inspect paper rolls that you are receiving to insure accuracy of product being received and not damaged.
• Carton making as needed.
• Ability to be a self-starter and work with limited supervision and complete required tasks on a daily basis.
• Shred printed documents, Clean up, sweep floor and Aisle throughout your scheduled shift.
• AssistPressserviceand Material handlers as needed.
• Adheres to and promotes all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out - tag out rules and hearing and eye protection policies.
• Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
• It is the responsibility of all Solution Delivery employees to follow the requirements of their documented process as defined in the ISO Quality Manual.
• Will train to operate a fork truck, clamp truck, and walker/ryder.
