The Department of State Hospitals - Napa currently has a full-time, permanent vacancy for an Office Technician (Typing). This position will report to the HRT II (supervisor) or HRT III. Duties include assignments such as correspondence, reports, forms, minutes, preparation and maintenance of various records and filing systems; characteristics include punctuality, good attendance, positive attitude, good verbal and written communication skills, self-motivated, customer oriented and ability to be cross trained on multiple desks. State departments will honor typing certificates issued within the last four years and certified from a five (5) minute typing test that meets the CalHR requirements, with a minimum of 40 WPM (words per minute).
